What began in 2011 as a simple recording project in front woman, Asha Lakra's bedroom has quickly transformed into a captivating and upbeat live band performance. Tikka is a personal foray into the understanding of a culture within cultures, a way to make amends with the past and find contentment in the future. Musically, the project toys with the exotic: a consummate harmony of bright synthesizers, loud guitars, and vulnerably exposed vocals.
